From Arrival to Achievement: Welcoming the November 2025 Visa Approved Batch to New Zealand
Touching down in a new country is a monumental milestone, but at LEADPRO, we know that the real journey begins after you clear customs. To ensure our students transition from “new arrivals” to “thriving professionals,” we recently hosted a comprehensive Welcome and Orientation Session for our November 2025 visa-approved batch.
This event was designed to provide more than just information; it was about building a community and offering a soft landing for those ready to start their new lives in New Zealand.
A Roadmap for Success: Settlement and Support
The orientation focused on the practicalities of settling into a new environment. Moving beyond the paperwork, the LEADPRO team provided actionable insights into:
- Initial Settlement Advice: Navigating local systems, transport, and essential services.
- Job Search Strategies: Tailoring CVs for the New Zealand market and understanding local workplace culture.
- Ongoing Support: Reaffirming our commitment to being a “second home” for our students throughout their academic and professional journey.
Learning from the Leaders: Inspiring Success Stories
The highlight of the session was an empowering segment featuring three LeadPro success stories. These guest speakers, who once stood where our newcomers stand today, shared their personal journeys and professional wisdom:
- Manjula Valentine – National HR & HSE Training Manager, Paramount Services Ltd Manjula offered invaluable perspectives on the New Zealand corporate landscape and the importance of health, safety, and human resource management in building a career.
- Binoj Malinda – Aircraft Engineer, Jetstar Airways New Zealand Binoj shared his inspiring path into the highly technical aviation industry, proving that with the right guidance, specialized global careers are within reach.
- Ruwan Gunasekara – Group Human Resources Manager, Ultimate Car Group Ruwan provided strategic advice on professional growth and the resilience needed to climb the leadership ladder in a new country.
Their presence served as a powerful reminder that with hard work and the right support system, the transition from a student visa to a high-level professional role is a tangible reality.
More Than an Agency—A Community
At LEADPRO, we take immense pride in seeing our students succeed. This orientation session was not just an end-point for the visa process, but the beginning of a lifelong professional network. We are honored to be part of these journeys and look forward to seeing the November 2025 batch make their mark on New Zealand.
Kia Ora and welcome home!
